we empower children and women who have endured the challenges of orphanhood, abandonment, or gender-based violence. Through education, vocational training, mentorship and creative arts, we provide the resources they need to rebuild their lives with dignity and independence. Our holistic approach ensures their overall well-being—nurturing both their physical and emotional health.

Our vision is to create a future where:

• Every child and woman has access to education, skill development, and the opportunity for meaningful employment.

• Survivors of domestic violence, abandonment, and orphanhood are supported long-term, helping them heal and thrive.

• Financial independence becomes achievable, enabling women to break free from cycles of inequality and dependence.

• Communities embrace gender equality, with women being seen, heard, and valued in all spaces.

• Holistic well-being is supported through yoga and sustainable practices, such as medicinal gardens that nourish both the body and the mind.

• The yogic path guides our philosophy, helping individuals develop inner strength, mindfulness, and resilience.

By combining empowerment, healing and opportunity, we are breaking cycles of poverty and shaping a future where women can thrive.

What we do:

Our current focus is to uplift an Indian rescue home for girls and women, established in 1939, which currently houses 59 girls and 39 women. Our partnership with the rescue home began in 2016, when we brought volunteers from across the globe to share their skills in music, dance, drawing, poetry, gardening, and beauty services through short-term residencies. Over the years, the trust and bond we’ve built with the institution has opened the way for Vikas Bloom to introduce several impactful initiatives, including:

• Counselling and Mentorship Programs

• A Vocational Center

• A Life Skills Empowerment Program

• Vegetable and Medicinal Gardens

• Year-long Residencies for Volunteers

Through these efforts, we aim to build a society where women and children are no longer vulnerable, but empowered to be independent and fully capable of shaping their own destinies—where they are not just surviving, but flourishing.

Vocational Center

When we empower with skills, we transform lives. Our first vocational training center in India is where girls and women will gain the skills they need to stand on their own and shape their futures with confidence and dignity.

Mentorship

Our mentoring program identifies needs and nurtures growth through financial support, guidance, and employment opportunities.

Healing Workshops

For women and children facing adversity, creativity can be a powerful tool for building confidence, fostering resilience, and envisioning a hopeful future. It shifts focus from challenges to possibilities, offering a pathway to healing and empowerment.
